On Saturday morning, April 30th, a group of homeschooling families met at Kenneth Bernard Park in Lansing, Kansas. 17 kids and 10 adults released fifty helium balloons into the air with a card attached asking the finder to email us and tell us when and where they found the card. We wanted to track the distance an average helium balloon will travel when released. There is a video of the release below. We will update the map at the bottom of this page as we receive responses.
